We're still collecting donations
On the 9th February 2024 we'd raised £3,195 with 42 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We have climbed a mountain and now we are reaching for the stars!

On the 9th February 2024 we'd raised £3,195 with 42 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Moto Junkies was founded in 2021 with the help of crowdfunding to get us off the ground.
With your help we have grown from a team of two to a team of eight. We have gone from working out of a beat-up old transit with two bikes, to a cow shed in Welshpool with twelve bikes, to creating MotoCamp Wales, our 18-acre site in Dolgellau with 3 lodges, 3 pods, and a 400-year-old cottage with ENORMOUS chimneys!
We now run tours in Wales, England, Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, and The Pyrenees. This year we will be adding India and Morocco to that list. This is all in less than 3 years.
We still have the beat-up old transit!
This has been exceptionally hard work, but we have had the most amazing support and loyalty from our friends and customers. Our community.
We are now looking for your help once again to take us to the next level.
Welcome to 2024 and a new chapter for Moto Junkies Ltd.
We are still passionate about what we do and we love developing new tours and finding new places to take our riders.
We love introducing new people to our community, teaching them new skills, and providing a safe and beautiful learning and recreational environment in wonderful Wales. We love the fact that some of you consider MotoCamp Wales your second home, that many have joined our Motorcycle Club Community, and that lots of you have made friends for life (not least in our resident dogs - Chui, Luna, and Tilly!).
We want to keep doing what we do and more.
Over the next couple of years, we would love to make it even better by introducing workshops and training programs for young offenders and people with mental health issues who might benefit from our beautiful environment and the focus required to develop new skills. We would love to gain the equipment to create opportunities for veterans or those who are now too infirm to ride but would love to feel the wind in their hair and the sight or smell of the open road once more.
We want to increase our team and develop our site to make it even more beautiful and inviting for all our guests.
To do that, we need your help in securing our site for the future.
Taking on an old golf course in Eryri National Park 18 months ago and creating MotoCamp Wales was frightening. Finding a base (let alone one this big) had not been in the plans so soon and overnight we more than quadrupled our overheads. We certainly had a mountain to climb and we had to just trust that our hard work and money would be enough to make it work. It was and it is, but we are ready to go further.
The site is now up for sale and after much discussion with our landlord, we are very close to being in a position to buy it. This will secure our future and give us the confidence to continue to develop our dream MotoCamp Wales.
To do this we need to raise more funds because once again, this was not in the plans quite as soon as we had expected!
We are aiming high! With your help, we are going for it!
