We're still collecting donations
On the 22nd March 2023 we'd raised £1,152 with 26 supporters in 18 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Help me raise some money to support with the production of my final major uni project based loosely on the relationship between me and mum.

On the 22nd March 2023 we'd raised £1,152 with 26 supporters in 18 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
If I earn more than initially planned, I will shoot the whole project on film and potentially be able to pay some of those who are involved.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT?
'Mother is the name of God in the eyes of a child' is a short film that explores the fragility of a teen mum's relationship with her daughter and nods to the complexities that exist within that relationship.
The 3 minute film will explore the power in the relationship but also be subjective to the viewer to relate to or interpret moments for themselves. Touching on themes of single parents, the realities for working class and an element of hidden homelessness.
The film is a brief for my University final major project. I am currently in my 3rd year at UAL London College of Communications studying Documentary Photography and Photojournalism. The film will be 'premiered' at my final show on the 25th May 2023 at LCC.
WHAT IS IT THE NARRATIVE?
As the final film will act as a trailer with potential to be revisited and developed into a longer film, the narrative of the film will be short and have minimal action that are emotive and effective. We will see a snippet into the strain of the reality.
Despite the themes being complex and heavy, the final film will enlighten a hopefulness through its etherial and nostalgic shots and edit.
WHY I NEED YOUR HELP?
Initially I set up this crowdfunder to help with the elements of this project that were questions for production; i.e. catering for crew on the day of shooting, money for set pieces, small budget for styling, stills film costs. All of this I thought would be covered by raising £1000. However since revisiting, the costs of the developing of the film will cost £750 in itself. I now have the incredible 'A Look Into' production company onboard to help make a tighter budget, but i'm asking for another push of donations to get closer to the £3000 mark.
I already have such an amazing team on board who believe in the vision for the film and agreed to get involved collaboratively.
THE IMPACT
This is a very personal project as it is based loosely on the memory of the relationship that I have with my own mother when I was a child and working on this project has been extremely therapeutic. Hopefully this will be a way of re-connecting with her.
Anything that you could donate would really would mean a lot.
