I’m sure many of you are aware of what’s going on in Ukraine. I can’t begin to imagine the pain, fear and terror that people living in war zones feel on the daily. I feel so privileged coming from the UK where that sort of reality is completely alien to us. But this makes me feel incredibly guilty. As I'm sure a lot of people do, I feel helpless being in the UK. While wanting to help, I didn't know how or in what ways I could that would be most helpful. But with research I found the charity 'The Orphan's Aid Society', which stood out to me as an important non-for-profit, where all money goes directly to the children of Ukraine.The charity provides material and moral support to Orphans and half orphans residing throughout the 24 Ukrainian provinces. I have been crocheting for nearly 3 years now and recognised I could utilise my skills to try and raise money. So I am offering you a deal. Buy one of my hats and I will donate 100% of the proceeds directly to the Orphan's Aid Society. I will post proof of my donations on instagram (@moomoocrochet). I have already raised nearly £300 over on paypal but I was having trouble accessing and sharing the fundraiser over there so I have moved it over here. 

So,

1. Buy a hat for £25. £25 will go directly to the children of Ukraine.

2. You will receive this hat within 4 weeks. It can be any colour and any pattern. Just get in contact with me and we can work this out :)

3. If you don't want a hat, have a look at my instagram (@moomoocrochet). I have a selection of accessories, jumpers, bralettes and skirts that you can choose from too! Prices will be different however. But please just contact me on my email [email protected] and we can have a chat.

4. If you don't want any crochet, you can still donate! Any donation no matter how small is helpful. Every little really does help.
