Midi Underground is a music, media, events and tech business formed in 2020 by Adam Wilson & Scott McKechnie during the covid19 pandemic.

 In its early days, Midi started out as a radio station with live streaming capabilities to keep people entertained during covid lockdowns. Adam & Scott spent endless hours concepting and designing the brand and built a fully functioning studio in Adams's converted garage, a real labour of love.

As the listener numbers started to grow and the world opened up for business again, a chance meeting via a mutual dog walker (believe it or not) saw us put in contact with Neil Holden who instantly saw an opportunity in the Midi Underground brand. 

From there, we have developed a mobile application with exclusive use of whisper technology with the potential to revolutionize connectivity at large-scale events. Alongside that, we have recently launched our new website which is jam-packed with features.

Now Midi Underground radio has over 10k + regular listeners each month and we have over 300 shows on our Mixcloud channel. We also champion new artists and give them a credible platform to be heard.

In December 2022 we launched our first event in Digbeth, Birmingham and are planning our next series of parties alongside the launch of our label.

Our stage will be equipped with state-of-the-art audio and video equipment, lighting and stage effects, and other groundbreaking technologies that will create a one-of-a-kind immersive music experience.
