We're still collecting donations
On the 27th October 2022 we'd raised £1,100 with 9 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We wish to raise 2.5k towards the costs of putting on this youth theatre show so we don't need to charge any of the performers to partake.

hi, I'm Polly, I have been teaching Youth Theatre for 27 years and have put on so many wonderful shows.
In 2019 we put on our last big production "Into the woods" but it sadly lost the Spark Studio money, I have had to really put my business head on and really think about the logisitics of doing it this time around.
It's now 2022 and we are putting on Moana Jr, (auditions soon) our first named Disney show in a few years, and we hope to put on preview performances at the Spark Studio and then move it to Brixham theatre for a 1 off production with all the bells and whistles in February 2023.
We have noticed from feedback lately a lot of our talented students would love to audition and take part but they just can't afford the fee of approx £100 per student. We would love to be able to offer bursaries or free cast places to those who need it. We would love it if we could offer it for free to all.
Please note: Performers still to earn their space by being a committed member of the company, following a successful audition.
A budget has been made based on a 2/3rd full audience which is realistic.
The ticket money raised would only cover the theatre hire, technical help and sound equipment. (eg head microphones) we also have to pay a percentage back of ticket sales to the performing rights company who have given us the license for this show.
Tickets will be kept extremely affordable, but this does sadly mean we won't make any money from the ticket sales themselves at our projected audience sales to pay for anything else.
Any money we can fundraise would pay for the show license, costume creation / hire, set, rehearsal room, electric, water, promotion and the director, (who works for less for around £3 an hour for these productions) and if we can, it won't have to come from the performers.
Please donate whatever you can afford, or if you cannot but may have goods or services to offer, we would love to run a fundraising raffle also.
If you are willing to sponsor our show for £10 or more then your names will be in the programme as our 'supporters', as long as they are listed on this page.
We would like to offer a few opportunities for local businesses or generous benefactors to get involved too, and would like to suggest a platinum, gold, silver and bronze sponsorship support package.
We may add more to the incentives package also.
2 platinum Sponsorships: £500. Businesses will be regularly mentioned on our social media sites, poster and leaflets, they will receive a full page advert in our programme and their name will be on our promotional banners. Signed programme/ poster by the cast. These businesses will also be given the option to get their name included on show t shirts if they wish to.
4 x Gold Sponsorships : £250. Businesses will be regularly mentioned on our social media sites, poster and leaflets, full page advert in programme and promotional banner. Signed programme/ poster by the cast.
4 x Silver Sponsorships. £125 - Businesses mentioned on our social media sites, 1/2 page advert in programme. Signed programme/ poster by the cast
8 x Bronze Sponsorships: £75 - Businesses mentioned on our social media sites, 1/4 page advert in programme.
If we raise in excess of this amount then it will go straight back into the company for the next production or to improve the facilities of the rehearsal/ studio/ performance space further.
