We're still collecting donations

On the 3rd January 2024 we'd raised £100 with 4 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

With a background in helping at local foodbanks, supporting church and community projects, and working in international disaster relief, the founders of Mission Vans saw that help with transport was significantly needed in the charity sector.

We are raising money to help with the running costs of our vans, so charities that support people in need can get the items they need, like food, warm clothes or hygiene products.

We provide free or heavily subsidised transport for foodbanks, soup kitchens, charitable community groceries and other humanitarian aid organisations. Enabling these organisations to secure free surplus food and non-food items as they become available on platforms including Fairshare and Feeding Britain. We collect donated food and non-food items from supermarkets and wholesalers and deliver to foodbanks, soup kitchens and charitable community groceries. In doing so, Mission Vans provides opportunities for donors and philanthropists to support local communities as well as providing volunteer opportunities for people who are willing to help.

Funding also comes from generous donors as well as through grants, paid logistics projects and sponsorship.
