Milimetres 2 Mountains support people with life changing injuries.
I am climbing to over 5,000 m in the Himalayas with people, who in some cases, were told they would never walk again.
The founder, Ed is a recovering quadriplegic and many others like him who at first can only make small steps due to injury, but go on to climb mountains. Truly humbling as someone who is lucky enough to never had had to face injury but has never attempted such an extreme feat of climbing in the Himalayas.
I've seen the huge difference the direct funds can make to the beneficiaries, who can feel like they've lost it all only to find support when they are in their darkest places.
