Alex Watson is fundraising for Hospice In The Weald Charity No. 280276

£5,749
Each year, around 500,000 people in the UK die from terminal illnesses – and many of them need specialised care and support, not just for themselves but for their families too. Hospices step in when it matters most, offering a safe space, expert care, and a little bit of peace during the hardest times.
Hospice in the Weald needs to raise around £8 million a year just to keep its doors open – that’s to fund everything from nursing care to emotional support, pain relief, and simply keeping the lights on. They receive limited government funding, so they rely heavily on the generosity of people like us.
I am running a 50km/ 31mile race around Bewl Water on the 10th of May and for every mile I run is for the moments that matter – for the families, the memories, and the care that makes all the difference.
Your donation could make that difference – not just to this hospice, but to hundreds and thousands of families who need this support, now and in the future.
I am raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to me and many others. So please donate and help us reach this target in aid of those that are suffering.
Anything you can contribute towards helping achieve this target will be massively appreciated.
Thank you.
