We provide veterinary treatment for rescued animals in our care before rehoming them in vetted homes. We adhere to a strict no-destruction policy.

Donate to this charity

Fondly referred to as MART, we are a modest, localised charity that originated in the early 1960s in the quaint village of Albrighton, Shropshire. A decade later, we were officially recognized as a charitable organization.
WHAT WE DO
Our operations extend across the West Midlands as far as our resources permit.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals at risk.
Every animal under our care is provided with the necessary veterinary care prior to adoption.
We ensure all animals are neutered when of age and vigorously advocate for the neutering of pets among the public.
OUR SETUP
Instead of a traditional rescue centres, we depend on a dedicated group of volunteers who primarily work from their homes. This approach significantly reduces our overhead costs, allowing us to allocate the majority of our funds directly to the animals we serve.
OUR DREAM
Despite our current operations, our ultimate aspiration is to establish our own rescue centre.
Achieving this goal would require a substantial semi-rural property with suitable housing and a considerable amount of funding for maintenance.
While we've seen other charities receive remarkable donations, we remain hopeful and continue to dream of such generosity.
