Why is it more important than ever for Margate Independent Foodbank CIC and MICommunity Shop Margate?
To be there for the Community of Margate and the surrounding area of Thanet. We are in the grips of a crisis, which is affecting not only poorest in the community but people in the middle ground, the cost of living crisis, and higher inflation is hitting hard.
The Food Bank and Community Shop are being hit too, and donations are down.
Being a Nonprofit Organisation, we really depend on donations and grants.
Demand is increasing for help from families in the community. We, as we have always done, are going to be there for as long as we can.
We are asking for the people and the businesses in the local community that can help by way of donations, whether cash donations or supplies, no matter how small.
