The Summer Fayre is our biggest fundraising event of the year but sadly can't take place again due to the pandemic.
With your help, we've created this Crowdfunder to raise a much-needed £5,000 to rejuvenate and develop the Reception outside area to be supportive of the new EYFS curriculum.
Together the Merryhills’ PA and staff want to create an engaging space for our new members to learn outside, explore, enjoy and grow comfortable in the school.
Continuing education seamlessly outside, it puts children's' wellbeing at the forefront, providing a calm space where children can learn about the natural world through a Planting Area, a new Construction Area to build in, a new Maths Area to engineer in, an updated Mud Kitchen, a new Outdoor Sink to wash up and water plants, a new Quiet Area for reading and phonics, Mobile Writing Boxes for children to write anywhere in the garden, replenished sand and water equipment with metal and wooden equipment, a Music Station, a Sensory Garden area with herbs and scented flowers, and a Vegetable Garden to grow and harvest.
