Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre, located in Mid-Cornwall supports adults, young people and children living with long-term neurological conditions and/or neuro diversities to access specialist therapies, support, and information in a safe, supportive environment to help them improve their physical and mental well-being.

Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre offers a range of therapies and services for individuals living with long-term neurological conditions and neuro diversities. Services include: Neurological Physiotherapy, both one-to-one and group sessions, Hydrotherapy, Ayres Sensory Integration, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Classes and Oxygen Therapy.
Every day at Merlin we aim to support and encourage independence and confidence, inspiring friendship and connectivity amongst our community. Client numbers increased by 25% in 2023 compared to 2022 with 545 clients attending the Centre generally at least once a week. At the start of 2024 we had 572 clients registered.
Whilst our work support those with neurological conditions and/or neurodiversities, we also provide a much-needed support network and safe environment to the families and carers of our clients.
From 10 months old to 98 years old, our clients come to us with a variety of conditions, each with their own unique story to tell.
Our expert team will use their knowledge, skills and dedication to support each and every person that comes through our doors.
Married couple Steve and Cathy both attend the Centre for therapy.63 year old Cathy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 17 years ago. A year ago Steve, 62 was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).

Since the Centre opened in 2009, our range of services has grown; our beneficiary numbers have increased; and the support we provide is for individuals with a far wider range of neurological conditions. Since 2021 we have also delivered therapy support for young people and children with a neurodiversity. We are Cornwall’s only neuro therapy Centre, and we strive to improve the lives of beneficiaries and their families in a friendly, supportive, safe, and understanding environment
