The Cause, London's 100% independent DIY dance music space is raising funds for Mind in Haringey to support people affected by mental health problems in our local borough. #SupportTheCause & donate x

The last nine months has been a very wild ride for us and mentally draining. We have been caught up in a rollercoaster of consistent adaptation, opening and closing our venue at virtually zero notice.

Whilst we don't know how 2021 will pan out or what resources we require, we can't help but pinch ourselves and feel very lucky to still be here, keeping busy, in business, seeing friends and feeling part of a community.

We can't forget that for many, 2020 has been a dark year.

As such, we have decided to launch a fundraiser this Christmas to help our local borough, with the aim of raising £5K for Mind In Haringey.

MIND IN HARINGEY: FOR BETTER MENTAL HEALTH

In February 2018, when The Cause was just an empty shell, we pitched to Mind in Haringey our concept for a venue that leveraged the power of dance music and community to give back. It only feels right that this Christmas we support them and the amazing work they do again.

Mind in Haringey provides information, advice and support to people affected by mental health problems, primarily in Haringey. They work to prevent mental health problems, promote mental well being and ensure those with mental health problems are respected and included in our local community.

If you want to understand more about how the pandemic has induced a mental health emergency, click HERE to find out why Mind need your help.

We will add more content over time, but for now our directors are donating £500 to get it started.

If you can spare anything, please do x
