Mental Health & Wellbeing in Thurrock & Brentwood

It’s just as important to look after our mental health as our physical health.  In these uncertain times, many people are finding it difficult to cope emotionally and are experiencing anxiety, low mood and loneliness.  We need your help to support them.  

Not everyone can access digital support, so we need to be able to meet people face-to-face, but it will cost money to adapt our premises in Thurrock & Brentwood so that we can keep people safe and social distance.   

People will be able to get the support they need, at the time they need it, in the way that suits them – face-to-face or digital. 

We are a local mental health charity who have been providing support for over 35 years.   We continue to develop innovative services that respond to what local people need and encourage people who are passionate about wellbeing or have personal experience of mental health problems to get involved and make a difference.

We rely on donations and volunteers to be able to reach everyone that may need our help.   During COVID-19 we have not been able to hold events and fundraise in our traditional way and so are reaching out to you in the hope that we can continue to help the people who need it most. 

Every penny counts, and with your help we will be able to:

• Provide face-to-face mental health support to people in Thurrock & Brentwood
• Provide vital PPE for our staff and service users
• Make our premises safe so that we can meet people during the pandemic.
