Help them get started
Your support makes a difference
Aim: Changing perceptions around mens mental health! Encouraging men in our community to talk openly to their peers about how they're feeling.
The Men’s Room was born from the belief that talking saves lives. It began with Men Don’t Talk?, an award-winning short film that captured real, raw conversations about men’s mental health and the struggles they often face in silence. The overwhelming response to the film made one thing clear: men do want to talk—they just need the right space to do it.
We're building a community of men! Men who talk to each other, and share their feelings! We're proving we are stronger when we understand our mental health and know when times are getting tough, but we are accepting of these times and allow ourselves to breath through them and become stronger for it.
Why does this matter?
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for men under 50 in the UK. Many struggle in silence, feeling like they have no one to turn to. The Men’s Room is here to change that narrative. By sharing stories, raising awareness, and fostering real conversations, we aim to create a culture where vulnerability is seen as strength, and where no man feels alone in his struggles.
Your support will help us secure more venues for our flagship meetings —Talk Club and Grumpy Mens Club, our meetings are engaging and very valueable for the men who attend them. Every donation brings us closer to booking new spaces across town and expanding our reach—building stronger connections in every part of the community. If you know of a venue that would be perfect for our next meeting, please get in touch at [email protected]. Thank you for helping us grow this community!
We’re not just a project—we’re a movement.
