Mel was very sadly diagnosed with Cancer last year and more recently has been told it has spread and where and how it has spread means it is going to be very difficult to treat. She has been an absolute shining light and inspiration to so many people. Despite her diagnosis she has remained positive, continued running races even when she was undergoing gruelling chemotherapy which caused her rheumatoid arthritis to flare up painfully. Mel has been fundraising nonstop since her diagnosis and has raised thousands herself and with the help of others for cancer charities.
Her desire now is to purchase an ECG unit for the Weybourne unit at the N&NUH where she has been receiving treatment. She is so close to the amount required but funds could do with a little more of a boost so this is the reason for the prize draw.
All it takes to enter and help Mel reach her target is to donate £5, each £5 donated will equal one entry to the prize draw.
All proceeds raised will be going to Mel's fundraising pot for the ECG unit at Weybourne Unit.
The prize draw will be drawn on 24th May.
