Aim: Walk, run, and cycle 35 miles each this July to raise funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and FearFree, supporting their lifesaving work
We are Melksham Town Council, and this July our staff and councillors are challenging ourselves to walk, run, or cycle 35 miles each as part of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance 35 for 35 Challenge, celebrating their 35th anniversary.
We’re raising funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, who provide lifesaving critical care across Wiltshire and Bath, and FearFree, who support people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence to rebuild their lives free from fear.
Our vision is to support charities that make a real difference in our community every day. The money we raise will help Wiltshire Air Ambulance continue flying and saving lives without government funding, and help FearFree reach more adults and children with their free, specialist services to break the cycle of abuse.
Together, we want to show that by taking on this physical challenge, we can stand in solidarity with those facing crisis and give back to the organisations that keep our community safe, supported, and hopeful for the future.
