After a highly successful season in Gluttony at Adelaide Fringe 2025, multiple 5 star reviews and a “Best Kids and Family” award, the team behind ‘Meg in the Magic Toyshop’ is thrilled that our “exceptional kids show” (Fringefeed) has been offered a season at Gilded Balloon for Edinburgh Fringe 2025

Growing my small-scale library show into a stage production has, thus far, been a self-funded, labour of love. But taking a show to Edinburgh Fringe is no small feat and we need your help to make this season viable!
Meg and the Magic Toyshop is a beautifully inclusive and whimsical show, filled with immersive stories, dances, timeless children's songs and Makaton signing. Specifically created to support pre-school age educational growth and breakdown communication barriers, the show offers a magical introduction into the world of the performing arts and is “Perfect for the youngest Fringe fans” (Kids in Adelaide)
Getting the word out to parents, guardians and carers of this age bracket relies predominantly on expensive online advertising and physical advertising – all of which adds up to more than we make in ticket sales...but we can’t have one without the other!
This fringe we are seeking to simply cover our costs. Your contribution - no matter how big or small - can help make a difference and bring this show to a new community and generation of theatre goers. So if you’ve seen the show (or your kids have!) and enjoyed it - Help us get to Edinburgh!
