£5,000 is needed for ongoing medical and nursing treatment and care for a Palestinian man in Bethlehem. The man is in his 50's and suffered a brain injury in March in the early stages of the Israeli military offensive on Gaza and Occupied West Bank. Until now he has been in hospital in a coma and received appropriate medical treatment. He has shown some improvement but still has a tracheotomy and a feeding tube. He is being discharged home this week and will require 24-hour care. His wife and family do not have the money to provide medical care and we are asking for your support so that we can help them. It is going to be an immense struggle for the family. All medical and nursing care has to be paid for - there is no national health service in Palestine.
