I started my hobby-cycling career thanks to COVID in the summer of 2020 (like so many). Since then I have been cycling regularly all over Frankfurt and the surrounding area (but never cycled more than a nice Sunday morning round with friends, and the (COVID-) beard shown in the picture is shorter these days).
From 20 to 22 June, colleagues from across the EMEA region will have the opportunity to take part in the 271-mile route from London to Amsterdam, as part of our annual Fitprints for Good challenge. Cycling an iconic route through English, French, Belgian, and Dutch towns and countryside.
This year's event will be bringing together colleagues from across the region for a three-day challenge. It’s a great opportunity to embody the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie which is integral to all we do at MUFG. Here at MUFG, we always pride ourselves on how we adapt our CSR strategy to respond to the most immediate needs of our communities.
Whether it’s supporting young people whose education has been disrupted; helping more communities become greener and more sustainable; or supporting those struggling to make ends meet, MUFG are delighted to be partnering with organisations that are tackling these issues at the heart of their communities and using the cycle as a way to raise much-needed funds for them.
