Marton Annovazzi is fundraising for
THE WELFARE ASSOCIATION
Charity No. 1020238

£150
Hi everyone!
My name is Marton (Middle) Annovazzi, and on April 27th, I’ll be running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for the Welfare Association.
I first learned about the situation in Palestine during my first year at university through a Palestinian friend. At the time, I was shocked by how much I didn’t know about Palestine. The more I learned, especially about the struggles children face daily, the more I felt the need to act, through protests, donations, and now this fundraiser.
When one of my best friends told me about this marathon, I signed up without hesitation to raise money for this cause, even though running has never been my thing.
The Welfare Association works to support Palestinian communities through education, health, and social welfare programs. Their projects help empower vulnerable children and families, preserve Palestinian heritage, and deliver life-changing support where it’s needed most.
By donating to this fundraiser, you’ll be directly contributing to those efforts. Every cent goes to the Welfare Association. Even a small donation can help provide vital resources to people in need.
Thank you for reading and for any contributions. I’ll be running every mile with this cause in mind!
