MARLBOROUGH MARINERS
This is a group that raises money to support Marlborough Primary School in Falmouth through parent and community activities. The group raise money through fund raising activities to support extra curricular activities such as forest schools, theatre trips, visits to the Owl Sanctuary, visits by the Space Dome, Art workshops.

The Marlborough Mariners are the parents, friends and wider community that support Marlborough Primary School in Falmouth. The group exists to bring the school community together for events such as coffee mornings, the Big Dig, Apple Day and Easter Egg Hunts. The Mariners also work together to raise money for Marlborough School to support extra curricular activities and to ensure the children have access to inspirational and exciting activities and opportunities which will enhance and excite their learning!
Funds raised go towards a huge range of activities including:
- coach fees for school trips
- extra curricular activities such as visits from the owl sanctuary, visiting theatre companies, art workshops or the space dome,
- portaloo hire to enable the school field to be used by the children
Every penny we raise goes directly to supporting the school to ensure that the children have access to a range of experiences which will really enhance their experience at school and create happy, healthy learners.
School budgets are under a huge amount of pressure at the moment and the Mariners want to help raise as much money as we can to ensure that our vibrant school can be supported to ensure that our children can access inspirational and exciting opportunities which could not otherwise be provided out of a stretched school budget.
Fundraising activities include cake sales, Easter fayres, raffles, Christmas card sales, Quiz nights, sponsored cycles and a host of other fabulous events!
