Ladies and gentlemen, they and them, friends and followers, furries and those awaiting classification, thank you for coming to my first ever crowdfunding to help support my dream of a full run at the Edinburgh Festival and the development of myself as a performer and my shows using immersion, dance music, fx and dark humour.
My show includes prosthetic characters, visuals and music which help deliver the show and its messages to circuit party-style dance music. We touch on controversial topics including freedom of speech in an ever more suppressive authoritarian world, addiction and how commercialism and corporatism is destroying the planet, our joy and our way of life.
I tell the more lesser-known stories of historical figures in an upbeat euphoric way including Britain's most notorious madam Cynthia Payne who championed equality for LGBT+ and the equal age of consent in a time of great hostility amidst the HIV pandemic panic of the 1980s coupled with Thatcher's Section 28 which caused incredible hatred and harm to LGBT+ as well as introduce the legend that is Giacomo Leopardi!
Leopardi, incredibly well known in Italy, was a bisexual hunched manic depressive genius & poet who grew up in a castle. We visit his dilapidated castle and hear his life story as he bemoans why he is still a virgin!
We also have a complete scream with visits to a GoGo bar for some naughtiness, some tongue-in-cheek dark humour and a special Equality FunFair with music written with the help of Michael Garvin (Waiting For Tonight JLo, Never Give Up On A Good Thing, George Benson)
Your donations will go a long way to help support my time at Edinburgh Fringe and development of both myself as a performer and my shows over three weeks (16 in total) and dedicate full-time to delivering the best I can for audiences and beyond into worldwide megastardom!
