Malden Wanderers Under 15's fundraiser

Who are we?

Malden Wanderers is a thriving club with record participation across senior & junior sections, both male and female.

However with this success, it means we do need to refresh and future proof facilities.

The under 15's are one of the clubs most successful year groups in the colts and want to play their part.

Why are we crowdfunding?

The foundation of the clubs ambitious vision lies in a top-quality cricket facility. Malden Wanderers aims to create a haven for the sport, steeped in tradition yet mindful of the future. A picturesque ground, well maintained, with sustainable practices ensuring its enduring legacy. This is a space where everything resonates with the passion for cricket, from the seasoned veterans to the wide-eyed youngsters chasing their dreams. 

The club is very fortunate to own the ground at Cambridge Avenue, however with this comes sizeable running costs and regular investment requirements.

How we’ll spend the money raised

The club is looking to raise £60,000 to improve:

• Net facilities for practice;
• New square covers;
• New sightscreens; and
• Other maintenance projects

To play our part, the under 15's are looking to raise funds. Any contribution to support the team would be greatly appreciated.

Community impact

Malden Wanderers is a club run by volunteers as a not-for-profit organisation. As a community club we want to continue to deliver class leading facilities for all.

Malden Wanderers is more than just a cricket club; it's a community. It strives to be a welcoming space for everyone, fostering diversity and a genuine "club" atmosphere. Here, players, families, and supporters come together, united by their interest in the game and the camaraderie it fosters. 

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
