Malaria is one of the world’s oldest killers. The unsettling reality is that this disease claims the life of a child every minute, despite being entirely preventable and treatable. In 2021, there were 247 million cases of malaria worldwide. That’s potentially 247 million people missing school and work due to malaria. The loss of education and income perpetuates the poverty cycle, leaving society’s most vulnerable unable to care for themselves or their families. It is our mission to mobilise governments, influencers, businesses, and the public, catalysing them to commit funds, energy, and resources to make sure those most at risk – young children and pregnant women in particular – are protected from this deadly disease.
