We want to make the N Muskham swings safe again. Matting/flooring is needed for under the swings. We're raising money to help buy this.

We've been really taken aback by the fantastic support from people. We picked a target we hoped we'd reach but we've reached that much sooner than we thought. Thanks ever so much. We've now upped the target a bit which we hope is ok. All the money raised will be invested in improving the play park. Thanks again for your support.
If you have children or walk by the playing fields you may have noticed that the swings on the play park are currently out of action. It’s a sad sight: especially if you are a toddler who loves playing on the swings.
Be it baking hot or with snow on the ground and come rain or shine, the little girl we help look after asks each and every day to go to the play park, always excitedly asking to go “higher and higher” when joyfully using the swings. Each time we drive past the community centre she says “play park?” Unfortunately, we now have to drive elsewhere for her to use the swings as an inspection has deemed the ground beneath the village swings unsafe.
Between us, and despite not looking old enough, we have been working with and supporting children and young people for over 75 years. We know how vital it is for their well-being to have things to do and places to go. We’ve set up this crowdfunding page to help raise a few pounds to support the Parish Council’s efforts to raise money to make the swings safe again. The actual cost of the work is quite considerable, but we’re hoping we can together raise a modest amount to add to the Council’s fundraising efforts.
We know money is tight for many of us, especially at this time of year, but if you could spare a few pounds and make a donation – however small – that would really be appreciated. Just £5 would help buy a piece of the specialist matting/flooring needed to make the swings safe again.
