Maidenhead Festival - Family Fun Packages

Terms & Conditions

Win Maidenhead Festival Prizes and Support the Community in our Prize Draw.

1)    By entering this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

2)    The promoter is Maidenhead Festival, a registered charity incorporated company in England and Wales 10108142. Registered address: 22 Stratford Gardens, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3DT, England. 

Eligibility

3)    Entry is permitted from anywhere within the United Kingdom. 

4)    Anyone entering the prize draw accepts that in the event that they win a Prize, they are responsible for their own travel to and from the event (and that of their Guests).

5)    Entrants must be 18-years of age or over at the time of entering the prize draw. 

Entry Requirements and Entry Period

6)    Paid entry to the prize draw is available via Crowdfunder 

7)    For free entry by post to the prize draw, see clauses 33 below 

8)    The prize draw opens at 08:00 BST on 17th June 2024 and closes at 12:00 BST on 8th July 2024 (the ‘Entry Period’). Any postal entries received after the Entry Period will not be accepted.  

9)    Maidenhead Festival is not responsible for any delays in postal delivery by Royal Mail.  

The Draw and The Prize Winners

10)    The draw will take place on 9th July 2024 (the ‘Draw Date’). 

11)    Once the Entry Period is closed, each individual valid entry will be entered into the draw. Both paid for and free entry is recognised equally in the draw. 

12)    On the Draw Date the administrator of the draw (Maidenhead Festival) will use a random number generator to select five (5) Prize winners from the valid entries, plus ten (10) additional entries for use as a reserve list in the event that the Prize winner(s) cannot be contacted in line with clause 16 below.  

13)    Multiple entries per person are permitted, but only one Prize per person will be given. For the avoidance of doubt, each entrant will only be entitled to one of the 5 Prizes, as listed in clause 18. 

15)    The Prize winners will be notified by email within 5 days of the Draw Date. It is the Prize winners responsibility to check all inboxes, including junk and spam folders, and Maidenhead Festival will not be held responsible for emails not being seen by the Prize winners.

16)    In the event that a Prize winner does not make contact with Maidenhead Festival to claim their Prize within seven (7) days of the Draw Date, or is disqualified from the draw, Maidenhead Festival will allocate their Prize to one of the reserve list names (in priority order, starting with the 6th person identified in the draw). 

17)    Maidenhead Festival’s decision as to the Prize winners is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 

The Prizes

18)    The Prizes are as follows (each ‘a Prize’):  

Five (5) x Family Fun Packages to be won which includes the following for 2 adults and up to 3 children:

• 5 x Free ride tickets on any Traylen’s Fun Fair Rides (please note some rides have age and/or height restrictions)
• 5 x standard Whippy ice creams from Surrey Ices
• 5 x tickets to ride the Maidenhead Lion’s Fun Train
• Either a cheeseburger, hot dog, chips, slushi or bag of sweets per person from Dinkey Kitchen.

19)    The prize package can be used throughout the festival on both 20th and 21st July 2024

20)    Each winner will receive Prize Package Vouchers, with which they can redeem at each of the prize suppliers for themselves and their guests (‘Guests’). 

21)  Each prize package is valid for two adults and up to three children (up to the age of 17). Each winner must accept sole responsibility for the care and safety of any guests under the age of 16-years on 20th & 21st July 2024, for the duration of the event.  

22)    The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. 

23)    All Prizes will be personalised to the named winner and their Guests. 

24)   Tickets will be available for collection from the Maidenhead Festival Control Marquee located next to the main stage. 

25)    The winners will be required to verify their age in order to gain access to their Prize as entrants must be 18-years of age or over at the time of entering the prize draw. 

26)    The winners will be required to verify their identity as the named prize winner in order to collect their prize vouchers. 

27)    The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the Prizes is conditional upon the winning entrant’s compliance with these rules. Winning entrants may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the Prizes.  

Postal Entry

33)    Postal entrants may enter the promotion for free:  

a)    by mailing their full name and email address, to the following postal address: Maidenhead Festival Prize Draw 2024, 22 Stratford Gardens, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3DT

 b)    by sending an entry within an envelope. Entries received other than in an envelope will not be accepted. 

34)    In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope, only one entry will be entered into the draw. 

35)    Entries sent by post; 

a)    must be received at the relevant postal address specified for entries by the end of the Entry Period as specified in Clause 8. 

36)    Personal and hand delivered entries will not be accepted. 

General

37)    Maidenhead Festival shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner(s) if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall Maidenhead Festival be liable to the winner(s) for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this prize draw and/or the Prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of Maidenhead Festival. 

38)    Maidenhead Festival reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on the main page. Maidenhead Festival also reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. 

39)    As a condition of entering the prize draw, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. Maidenhead Festival will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the prize draw unlawfully. 

40)    Entrants may be required to participate in publicity without further consent or payment, such publicity including without limitation the entrant’s name, entry or any information provided by the entrant, including photographs and videos. This information may be used by Maidenhead Festival in any and all media, including but not limited to Maidenhead Festival’s social media platforms, in perpetuity throughout the world as Maidenhead Festival may decide.  

41)    Any personal information collected by Maidenhead Festival in connection with a prize draw will be used in accordance with Maidenhead Festival’s Privacy Policy (https://mheadfestival.weebly.com/privacy-policy.html)  

42)    This prize draw and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
