‘MADE IN GHANA’ is the pilot of the 'Continent Conversations' series I'm developing - A behind the scenes look into the techniques and processes of product and brand development.
Beautiful products and brands can be found online and in brick and mortar stores, but we rarely see the arduous process behind the production of the locally sourced, nameless artefacts and handcrafted goods.
This 'MADE IN GHANA' project will showcase the beautifully handcrafted Bolga baskets and fans produced in a town called Bolgatanga, located in the Upper East region in the north of Ghana.
'MADE IN GHANA' is a passion project that's been incubated and is ready to be brought to life for you to see and experience the documentation, discovery and profiling of the alluring handmade accessories and the people behind them.
THE GOALS

Goal 1: shine a spotlight on MADE IN GHANA goods & its handcrafters, while beautifully capturing authentic imagery showcasing the natural beauty of Ghana; for those seeing it for the 1st time and for those needing a fresh reminder
Goal 2: Develop a beautifully curated limited edition range
