Made for More is a documentary, being launched on International Disability Day to raise awareness of the need for workplace inclusion.

Project by DISABILITY AND DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS

The theme of the UK Disability History Month campaign in November-December 2024 is 'Disability, Livelihood and Employment': shining a light on the challenges disabled people face in the workplace, including discrimination, accessibility, and the need for inclusive, supportive environments.

In the film Made for More, Dave Shraga explores these issues with reference to his own journey: from a life-changing accident in his native Zimbabwe, via difficult employment experiences in London, development studies at the University of East Anglia (UEA), self-employment and charity work in Norfolk, where he is Chair of Inclusive Norwich and a trustess of Disability and Development Partners.

We are launching the film on 3 December 2024 - International Disability Day - at the School of Global Development at UEA. The world premiere will be followed by a Q&A session with Dave and Adam from DDP, filmmaker Ayoola Joyalemi and producer Ebinipere Fegha.

This page welcomes donations from people attending the launch event who would like to contribute but no longer carry cash, and anyone who supports the goals of accessibility and inclusion.

Proceeds will go towards the costs of making and releasing the film.
