The M M National Gulf Veterans And Families Benevolent Association
Please help us keep our doors open for these veterans and their families/carers. Regular monthly donations as well as one off-donations are vital to enable our services and support to continue to these ‘Forgotten Heroes’, who struggle to find the right help due to the nature of their illnesses from these specific conflicts. They can provide one-to-one assistance in completing the complex DWP and War Pension forms to enable beneficiaries to receive the monetary support that they need to survive. We can also provide help and guidance with their physical and mental health conditions and help them on the correct pathways. Your donation could also help save a life as sometimes they just need someone on the end of a telephone to talk to when times are tough, especially around specific dates, such as Remembrance and anniversaries of the conflicts.

The National Gulf Veterans & Families Association (NGVFA) was established as a registered charity in March 1999 supporting serving soldiers and veterans who served in the recent conflicts in the Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan and their dependants and carers. All three conflicts had a similar impact on the mental and physical health of veterans who served there, due to the unique climate in these regions and related combat stress factors.
We provide veterans with both face-to-face and telephone advice about living with PTSD and mental illness (for example ‘Gulf War Syndrome’), helping to obtain benefits through claims and appeals, war pension claims and appeals, health and housing.
It is important to us and to our beneficiaries that, by supporting the NGVFA, it allows us to continue to provide help and support to the veteran community through the services we offer to both veterans from past and current conflicts as well as their families and carers.
