Hello! I’m Rochelle, a dedicated single working mum of four incredible children, with my youngest being just six months old. And a suffer of sickle cell  , My journey as an entrepreneur began in childhood, rooted in creativity and ambition. Back in the 90s, while most of my peers were playing with marbles, I was busy cornrowing my friends' hair for just £1! When the end of year six came around, instead of joining the scramble, I smartly sold my marbles off with a receipt book in hand. That was my first taste of business, and it ignited a passion that has stayed with me ever since.

Business is truly the heart and soul of who I am. Currently, I run a small business alongside my full-time job in housing, all while juggling the responsibilities of motherhood. It’s a balancing act that comes with its challenges, but I thrive on the hustle and the joy of entrepreneurship.

After losing my grandma to cancer last year, I was deeply inspired to make my business thrive. She was one of my first clients and always recommended me to others, even sending me YouTube videos of styles and techniques to try. Her journey made me realize the importance of helping those experiencing hair loss feel amazing again. I am committed to creating a comfortable and luxurious private setting that offers a memorable experience for everyone.

Now, I’m at a pivotal point where I want to elevate my business to new heights. To do this, I need an injection of funds that will help me turn my vision into reality. Coming from a family that has faced financial struggles, relying on handouts is not an option for me. Navigating today’s economy while raising a family has been a daunting challenge, but I believe that with the right support and resources, I can achieve my goals and create a better future for my children.

The second part of my vision includes supporting and helping survivors of domestic abuse find themselves again and giving them the confidence to dressed up and be happy and feel great again. We will run workshops for self confidence, abuse awareness, empowerment and help with t getting back to work. These workshops will be aimed at both women and men but will offer a safe space for all either on a one to one bases or in a group setting.

In all Wigs ldn is much more than just a wig shop. It will be the place to make so many feel great again.

The money we are requesting will pay for rent and deposit for our hub, stock and the fit out also. This will give us the opportunity to grow and really offer an experience for our customers and women and men in need.

I’m excited about the possibilities ahead and am ready to take my business to the next level. Thank you for being part of my journey!
