The ‘Lurgan Area Community Aid’ team consists of representatives from the following organisations; Clann Éireann GAC, South Shore Health and Wellbeing-being Outreach Project, Lurgan Rugby Club, Lurgan Ladies’ Hockey Club, Clan na Gael CLG, St Peter’s GAC, St Paul’s CLG, St Oliver Plunkett Girl Guides, Lurgan Master Swimming Club, Shalom Church, Wolfe Tones GAC, TTBS and Sarsfields GAC.
St Francis PS, Drumnamoe Nursery School and Tannaghmore PS also have staff members on the team.
With our collective community network and community knowledge, we aim to get support to as many vulnerable people as physically and financially possible. This support will include; food parcels, emergency well-being packs, prescription collection and dog walking services to those who fall into the 'at risk category'.
