We improve the health and wellbeing of people living with HIV. We help people living with HIV who experience multiple social and financial disadvantages. This includes helping people who are socially isolated & profoundly lonely, have poor physical health and mental wellbeing - including co-morbidities, ageing and frailty, and who find day-to-day living challenging with many barriers to coping and self-care. People who use our services experience enduring poverty, in many cases with no recourse to public funds. Our group and services are peer led. We provide a range of unique community based services which reach, support and involve the most disadvantaged and marginalised in the community, with the largest number of vulnerable people in the locality engaged in our group work.

Our work is focussed on unique inclusive community-based group support for people living with HIV, reaching and helping people who would otherwise have no opportunity to break the cycle of social isolation and loneliness, and the damaging effect of these. We involve and help people who are otherwise not reached and experiencing multiple disadvantages and vulnerabilities. Our projects are a lifeline for people with no where else to turn. Importantly, our work is peer-led, giving people the opportunities to both receive and share empathic peer-support, sharing lived experience of mental health and coping, and to volunteer. Providing a unique space for companionship, peer-support and mental wellbeing improvement, there will also be access to additional specialist advice & help.
