Save Luddendenfoot Community Centre: A Lifeline for Our Local Community

Help us preserve and revitalize Luddendenfoot Community Centre, a vital space that has been serving our community for decades.

Our Story

Luddendenfoot Community Centre has long been the heart of our local community. It’s where we come together to celebrate, support one another, and build lasting connections. From youth clubs to senior gatherings, exercise classes to community events, our centre plays a pivotal role in the lives of countless individuals and families.

However, after years of wear and tear, the centre is now in desperate need of essential repairs and upgrades. Without urgent support, we risk losing this invaluable resource that so many rely on. We are seeking your help to raise the funds needed to restore, renew, and protect the future of Luddendenfoot Community Centre for generations to come.

Why We Need Your Help

The Luddendenfoot Community Centre is facing multiple challenges that threaten its existence:

  • Building Maintenance: The structure of the centre is deteriorating. Roof leaks, outdated plumbing, and crumbling walls need immediate attention to keep the building safe and functional.
  • Safety Concerns: The electrical system is outdated and requires an upgrade to meet modern safety standards.
  • Accessibility Issues: Many areas of the building are not accessible to people with mobility challenges, which limits the centre’s ability to host all members of our community.
  • Energy Efficiency: The centre lacks modern insulation and energy-efficient systems, resulting in high running costs and an uncomfortable environment for visitors.

These challenges cannot be tackled without significant financial support, and we need your help to make this happen.

Our Goal

We are aiming to initially raise £5,000 to cover the costs of essential repairs and improvements, including:

  • Roof and structural repairs
  • Electrical and plumbing upgrades
  • Accessibility improvements (ramps, wider doors, etc.)
  • Insulation and energy-efficient heating systems
  • New furnishings and equipment to enhance community services

How You Can Help

Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. Your generous support will ensure that the Luddendenfoot Community Centre remains a safe, welcoming, and thriving space for everyone. Here are some ways you can contribute:

  • Donate: A one-time donation of any amount will help us reach our goal.
  • Share: Even if you can’t contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks will help spread the word and bring in more support.
  • Sponsor a Room or Service: If you are able, consider sponsoring specific areas or programs in need, such as a new community meeting room or children’s activity space.

Why Support Us?

The Luddendenfoot Community Centre is more than just a building; it is a cornerstone of our community. With your help, we can continue to offer essential services and create new opportunities for social engagement, health, education, and recreation. By contributing, you’re investing in the heart of Luddendenfoot—ensuring that it remains a vibrant, inclusive space for years to come.
