Our aims:
- To raise funds for the school to benefit every pupil
- To foster an interest in the school by serving on the Committee
- To organise events for pupils’ enjoyment
- To organise events to enable parents to socialise
About us:
Over the years we have saw the school budgets being cutback with our school having to make the decision to go without or struggle on with ageing equipment that needs replacing. This is where us, the PTA, tries to help by organising fundraising events, creating school community awareness of the issues and even providing basic classroom teaching supplies to help take the pressure off the schools budget.
Our past fundraising events include – School Fairs, Discos, Movie Night, Cookery Demonstrations, Fashion Show, Ladies Night, Family Quiz, etc.
This year, our outdoor school playground equipment and the entire area needs to be refurbished. We are focusing our efforts to raise the £30,000 required to make this possible. It is a massive amount for the school to find but with support we hope to make a significant dent to this amount.
