This year, our outdoor school playground equipment and the entire area needs to be refurbished. The cost to upgrade the protective flooring and refurbish new climbing equipment is an eye watering £30,000!
It is a massive amount for the school to find with school budgets being squeezed every year but we at the schools PTA are trying to support them in whatever way we can and our aim is to raise £10,000. All profits from events run by us will have this project as its focus until the target is reached.
However, the PTA will still be making its annual commitments of school software licences, teacher wishlist of classroom supplies and smaller necessary equipment items.
This is why, any help offered, will be greatly appreciated so the pupils and all the clubs that use the school premises can enjoy some new facilities. Equipment like this is so important as it helps to promote the health and well being of the children.
