so im single mum of 4 children I have worked hard all my life but due to covid and lose of my job I was unemployed for 18 months I tried applying for every job possible and never heard back from them I will say my mental health started to go down hill and felt sometimes didn't want to get up in morning or go out but I eventually thought I wanted to be my own boss so I started my own cleaning business it was slow to start we but eventually I managed to get customers and even just cleaning few times weeks helped my mental health heaps didn't make me feel worthless no more so lets jump forward 1 year of running my business I have regular customers and am becoming busy I really want to expand my business as I have had to turn loads of customers away due to not being able to expand due to financial side I have also been approached by company to take on there 23 holiday lets which id love to be able to do but financially can't we taking on more staff and van and equipment so that's why I have come here for help to get me started so I can expand and then be able to offer people who wants work the opportunity to work and feel like I have since starting my business
my vision is to expand the cleaning side and also open small laundry place as there isn't 1 in my town anymore which will benefit community and also offer people vacancies when aint many in small town im in
The money I raise will be used to buy more equipment and open my laundry place we some washing machines and tumble dryers till we are up and running as I have customers who have already enquired about it and be able to offer up to 5 people a job till we are fully up and running and be able take on more customers and also these holiday lets then once I am I would love to also be able help someone who wants help to start a business
I will also say I never normally ask for help I always try do everything my self but this time I can't and all want to do is make my kids proud of me and show them that hard work and determination can pave your way forward
