Wild Work Day at Birdbrook Nature Reserve 25.03.25
Help us with hands on practical wildlife conservation.
Location
- Tue 25 Mar 2025, 10:00am-3:00pm
4 positions available
What you will be doing
Our Wild Work Days are practical, hands on, nature conservation activities that take place on a number of our nature reserves across London. We will primarily be focusing on improving natural habitats to benefit local wildlife. One way we do this is through using a variety of hand tools to cut back dominant vegetation to allow for new regrowth and improve the structure of the landscape, allowing more species to find their niche and overall improving biodiversity.
Your Wild Work Day will be hosted by a first-aid trained member of staff who will provide a H&S briefing on the day specific to the activities the team will be doing. We provide all PPE, tools and materials needed. We do however ask that you wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather.
