Aim: The aim of project is to educate Kurdish children between 4-18 of age. Teaching them mother tongue language and culture, art and dance.
We are a passionate, interdisciplinary team of educators, linguists, software developers, and community organizers dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the Kurdish language. Our shared background includes experience in curriculum design, app development, and community-based education projects. Many of us are native Kurdish speakers or come from Kurdish-speaking families, and we’ve personally experienced the challenges of maintaining our mother tongue in diaspora or multilingual environments.
Our project is centered around developing an accessible, culturally-rooted digital platform (mobile app and website) to teach children and young adults the Kurdish language—starting with foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
We envision a future where every Kurdish child, no matter where they are born, can confidently speak, read, and write in their mother tongue. Our broader goal is to strengthen cultural identity, intergenerational connection, and community resilience through language. Preserving Kurdish isn’t just about communication—it’s about keeping history, stories, and traditions alive.
