We are supporting people dealing with isolation and loneliness using live music as a driver.

On the 2nd February 2023 we'd raised £150 with 8 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The LIVE ROOM venue on Birkenhead has been running successfully as a community support project for over 18 months. Start-up costs have been funded by a grant from Pete Townshend, Awards for All (Lottery), and our own members and supporters.
HOWEVER, this aspect of our work has no funds. That's why we are asking for the generosity of others to help send 10 of our members to Glasgow in March to participate in a LIVE MUSIC event..
Why Glasgow: We have been working with Glasgow's Charlie Taylor Foundation (CTF), who operate a very similar (much larger), project from Ivory Blacks music venue in the centre of the city. Through the generosity of CTF, we have an opportunity for our musicians to play LIVE at the venue on the 1st Friday in March. This will be the result of many weeks of rehearsals at our venue.
What are the benefits? The process of rehersal has its own benefit in addressing our objects... i.e. loneliness, isolation, mental health issues and recovery support and team building. The opportunity to play LIVE at Ivory Blacks will amount to the culmination of their hard work.. A reward at the end of a long process. Participation will address issues of confidence and self worth.
