I am a Student Doctor with over 10 years of experience in journaling and have seen first-hand the benefits it brings. I realised early on that journaling helps to clear the mind and has numerous benefits, making it a tool for everyone—not just a specific group of people. Journaling isn’t a trend; it’s a valuable tool to help organise your life. Once you start journaling, it’s hard to stop. I’ve tried various types of journals, each of which has helped me in unimaginable ways. This inspired me to create a diverse range of journals, including productivity, medical school, personal diary, reflection, goal setting, life lessons, health, mental check-in, and spirituality journals, to name just a few.
My vision is to create journals in the style of the Midori Traveller’s Notebook, where you can add up to three journals in one cover, allowing you to customise and pick exactly what you need, unlike most journal companies that include both useful and unnecessary content. With the funds raised, I aim to give away free journals to backers and organise local workshops to encourage my generation, and older, to discover or return to the joy of journaling. I am doing this entirely on my own, and all support would be greatly appreciated. In a world that’s gone digital, these journals are completely analogue and handwritten, offering the unique benefits of using pen and paper. My goal is to support those struggling with mental health by providing a journal that helps them connect with a vital part of their life.
