We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry, that’s why we provide a 3 meals a day, 3 day supply of nutritionally balanced emergency food for local people in crisis and referred to us by frontline agencies.  Last year we gave out in excess of 12,000 food parcels serving over 5,000 adults and children.

Each food parcel costs on average £15, and whilst we get a lot of food donated we also need to buy on a weekly basis items that are not donated, for example fresh bread, milk, margarine and cheese. We also supply vouchers for fruit and vegetables. We offer alternative food items for clients with special dietary requirements, self-heating meals, can openers, disposable plates, bowls and cutlery for the homeless or who are without cooking facilities.
