Limbitless

Limbitless is a company run by a Royal Navy veteran. It will provide a service where amputees can show their personality and character.  We want people to see beyond the physical disability. Through custom artwork painted on their prosthetic limbs we are devoted to making the world a colourful, positive and more accepting place, where amputees take back control over their disability and express their individuality. 

Your contribution will enable amputee children and adults to view their disability in a new light. Imagine a shift of focus where a person is being looked at, not because they're an amputee, but because they're wearing kick ass artwork? We want to make the artwork an extension of themselves, as opposed to the disability. 

We want to adjust how disability is perceived. We want to encourage an environment where empathy and kindness is the focus of interactions. We want to create a world where individuality is celebrated.

There is already a list of names building who want to express themselves with custom artwork on their prosthetic limbs. By pledging money towards this project you will enable the Limbitless to build a solid foundation of vital resources to turn our vision into a reality. Risks and challenges

Planning permission has already been approved for the studio. Funding is now required for the infrastructure and materials. Without this I would have to rent out a studio and equipment (as done previously for the prosthetic limb showcased in my story) which is not cost or time effective. My biggest challenge will be time management as I am currently working full time as an ODP in operating theatres in South Wales.
