Keep The Lights On and The Rain Out!

Aim: Campaign to replace the ageing roof of Brightling Village Hall and install solar panels. Preserving a much-loved space in our community.

Our Story
Brightling Village Hall has been at the heart of our community since 1955. Built on land generously gifted by the owners of Brightling Park, it’s served generations as a space for celebration, connection, and wellbeing.

Today, it hosts yoga classes, wellbeing activities, a popular monthly café, wedding receptions, training events, film nights, and much more. It’s not just a building – it’s the social heartbeat of Brightling. The hall was refurbished in 2015 and continues to be a light bright and well maintained space.

Our Goal
We’re raising £30,000 to replace the ageing roof with a safe, modern structure and install solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint and running costs.

This project will preserve a key part of Brightling’s heritage while investing in a greener, more sustainable future.
