Aim: We are looking to install a working theatre in our community centre in order to bring the creative arts into the heart of our community
We are hoping to create a vibrant and accessible theatre space for both local community groups and professional theatre companies to use. We want to bring world renowned children's theatre companies to Kirkcaldy right into the heart of our community and create a Children's Theatre festival. The new Theatre will be available for local bands, all sorts of events, Amateur Theatre groups, local Societies, Scottish Theatre companies and much much more. We believe it could bring unmeasurable benefits to people of all ages in Kirkcaldy. We lost our roof during the last big storm and now that we are starting from scratch again we are dreaming big, lighting rigs, blacks, a sound system and many other essentials are needed to create our brand new community theatre. It is a big undertaking but with the help of all the amazing Lang Touners and beyond, we can do it!!
