Our vision for Lifwynn Wood is to create a site rich with connections - Wildlife and human alike.
We know how good nature is for our mental and physical wellbeing and want to create a bountiful, beautiful space where people can feel safe, peaceful and a sense of belonging.
Funds raised through this page will go towards making the woodland accessible to the community with work and ongoing maintenance of the track and car park, pathways, composting toilet and fire pit area. As well as creating an outdoor kitchen and bread oven, market garden, summer house to run events in and a workshop where we hope to teach people new skills.
We are just starting out here at Lifwynn Wood and would really appreciate any help with getting things off the ground. We have already done a lot of work on the track and car park, fire pit area, creating a pond, introduced lots more trees and hedging to the woodland. We are excited to get the local community involved with wildlife monitoring, vegetable growing, coppicing, tree planting, meditative activities, cooking & eating.
