I've been putting together a sailing boat with short term plans to sail on the west coast of Scotland and over to Ireland this summer.
My hope is that this is a boat that people can join for short trips and get a taste of the cruising life. Sailing is such a hard activity to get into if you don't grow up doing it, or have the means to access it, and I’d really like to share it with anyone who is interested.
To do this, the boat needs some essential communal equipment - lifejackets. Rather than expecting people to come on board with their own, I’d like to have a full set on board that I can be sure of the safety and quality of.
