In 2023 you elected 8 hardworking Green Party councillors onto Horsham District Council with 20% of the vote across the whole of Horsham. Then in February 2024, in a by-election the Horsham Green Party won its 9th seat on the council bringing the total to 9 District Councillors.
All of this was due to the hardworking volunteers we had, going out and delivering election leaflets and knocking on doors to talk to Horsham Residents about their concerns and needs.
Now on April 17th we have an opportunity to make it 10. This bye election brought about by the passing of long term councillor Liz Kitchen. To win this bye election will take a hardworking team of volunteers along with cash. Currently we don't receive any money from the national party to fund this campaign. We do not take donations from corporations. We rely totally on voluntary donations from members and friends to make a significant impact will cost us about £1000.
We must also make sure that Reform with its pernicious racist platform does not take hold in Horsham. Horsham is a tolerant society and we must not let hate divide us.
We can’t do this without you. Are you with us?
P.S. Because we’re a political party we’re required to run electoral register checks for anyone making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website.
All donations go to Horsham District Green Party
