St Therese of Lisieux Primary School Lenten Walk

Aim: We've set ourselves a challenge for our school to walk a total of 40 miles during Lent. Every day we'll take steps towards our target.

During Lent we think about how we can be closer to Christ and live truly how he wants us to live our lives. As Christians, we complete acts of generosity as a way of putting others first during preparations for Easter. 

This year we are raising money for our Parish to help support the amazing work it does for our school family. Our church is a beacon in our school and wider community; from class and school Masses to Communion preparation, from RE curriculum support in lessons to being a warm safe place for people to gather.

We've set ourselves a challenge to walk a total of 40 miles during Lent. Every day each class will take steps towards our target of 40 miles (or more!) as a school. We would be grateful if you could sponsor your child and support our Lenten cause.

The money raised will help support our church with the increased cost of living crisis (heating and lighting) and its partnership work with our school and children.
