The Edinburgh Wheels Project is a community interest company focused on providing sustainable and productive events for the community. Our aim is to give unemployed young people CSCS cards and practical hands-on knowledge whilst building skateboarding facilities for the Leith and Edinburgh people. We are looking to engage with as many local community projects that wish to set up stalls and encourage integration of our new Ukrainian citizens. 
Our team of volunteers will be pulling together in order to host an all day pop-up event at Leith Links Bowling Green or Leith DIY. Putting tasty food, a skateboarding event, live music from local artists, arts and crafts workshops and a film showcase together. We'll be helping to integrate the Ukrainian population who are now fellow citizens of Leith.
For us to make this a great event for the community we are asking for any donations towards the materials to build a new ramp in Leith, to pay our favourite local artists and food vendors and to provide free amenities to the new Ukrainian citizens. This money will be used to support all of those around us and help to grow grassroots culture which will have long-standing effects. All leftover donations will be used to create future projects with the hopes of further employment opportunities whilst facilitating a space for more events of this kind to take place.
